greensman
Boston fans are baffled... Two goalies that work?! Howard - 2/2 (1 shutout) Elliot - 2/2 More goalie points now than I had by end of November last year! My old goaltending duo somehow got reunited in CGY, which is kinda funny (Ward/Lehner). Canuck Surfer
Oilers being led, as expected, by our goaltending and in a pleasant surprise Viktor Stalberg! Less surprising; Justin Faulk also chipping in at a good clip. Besides that we're doing reasonably well without anyone other than our goalies putting up significant numbers. Just a lot of guys contributing here and there. Some depth...

theminister
The Isles have been off to a relatively slow start, as we integrate the youngsters into the line-up, but still sit 2nd overall in the Metropolitan division. We will take it!

theminister
Oh puke. You call that a slow start! Hey... if Grigorenko, Etem, Tinordi, Virtanen, Matteau, and Raanta start getting some regular playing time.... watch out! I've had good results from Garrison, Foligno, Boyle, Callahan, and Ristolainen so far but haven't been getting any points from Rask yet, and have slow starts from Sequin, Sharp, Kuznetsov, among others. Once we start rolling.... we will be right there. Bubble team my ass, Surfer.
oldnews
Rumours out of Toronto: The Leafs have moved a top 6 forward in order to bring in a couple prospects we have long coveted, to create more cap flexibility, and to open a top 6 spot for one of our forwards that we feel is ready to step up. No goalie points for Leafs - despite signing Quick - and Marky injured. Datsyuk injured again. Feels like last year all over again. Have guys to callup for forward injuries though, for a change....Graovac steps in for Dats....straight out with a groin. Brodie out. Aside from Trouba, virtually no production out of our blueline. Work on a deal for quite some time (announcement pending) - principle suffers a concussion lol. Youngsters in our bottom six - LIndberg, Pirri and Namestnikov - are leading our forward group. Nature taking its course. Jerseys on the ice to follow? But nvmd Surfer. He may think his club will make the playoffs (my money would be on the nay), but hypothetically, let's say the Coil do. I like their chances even less at that point. Dealt Smith (a Predator), DeKeyser (RedWing), Stastny (Blues), Hagelin (Ducks).....to bring in a pair of Hurricanes in Faulk and Skinner.... Do the Canes also make the playoffs? I see a lot of Leafs, Canes, Devils in that forward group...But hey, if the goal is to make the playoffs, maybe. Perhaps Pekka will score a goal or two....
