It's only common sense. No way does any guy allow the toe of their blade to touch in that stance; they would fall. It's only normal to lift the blade there. Horrible call. Glad the Jets won though. See it all the time with the likes of the Sedins or Jared McCann. Tonight it's Kadri he pulls his tough guy act on. 188lb Kadri. Not a big fan of Nazem, but he's nowhere near Backes' weight class - gives up over 30lbs on Backes - so kudos to him for standing up to Backes, who loves to pick on people way out of this weight class. I think he made the wrong call and good for him for reversing it and sending the young starter back in.
