TOOMUCHINTERNET
Sedin Sedin Hansen Baertschi Horvat Virtanen Etem Sutter Vrbata Burrows Vey Dorsett Edler Tanev Hutton Sbisa Bartkowski Biega first line don't try to fix what isn't broken I think this would work better, Baertschi & Horvat need some more physicality beyond horvat Etem, Sutter and Vrbata all good off rush and gives Vrbata more physicality since he's soft Burrows gives Vey some skill to work with while he can also cause havoc with dorsett defence is well done but Hutton is better on normal side, sbisa being a physical type of D and non-rookie is the better of the two on their off side

I like this lineup. McCann can alternate in and out of the lineup with Vey. At least that's how it should be if WD allows it. God knows he loves him some Linden Vey. lol
ButcherG
If McCann is not in the lineup I don't even want to watch the game. In my opinion he has the highest upside of any of our prospects. Free Willy and Vey now please.

There is no point in him not playing while Vrbata,Vey, and Burrows are playing regularly and not scoring. Etem hasn't helped Vey that much and is also not scoring. Cracknel should be on the 4 th line with Dorsett. McCann does have huge potential but this coach wants to bring Vey along slowly and maybe get rid of McCann. Maybe Willy doesn't want anyone to out shine his Vey. Edmonton will try to get McCann if we are not careful. Benning should give Edmonton a deal to take Vey, not McCann. McCann hasn't shown he deserves ice time over Vey. And McCann hasn't been scoring either. Regardless how you personally feel about Vey, he's been doing well. It makes perfect sense to have those 2 alternate on the 4th. If McCann was better on faceoffs, he'd see more time on ice. I won't be surprised to see McCann go to Utica next year to give him a full year to put on size and develop strength.

Other teams have rated McCann very high .Willy has purposely not allowed him to shine. He likes to bring certain guys along slowly like Vey who is now 24. McCann will get bigger sitting on the sidelines. He should be playing and developing. He would be playing if he was in Edmonton. Sad for McCann who is being held back by this coach. Boddy604
Having Dorsett play with Sutter and Virtanen is interesting. That's essentially a HUGELY improved Prust-Cracknell-Dorsett line. With a little less fist fighting and a lot more hits. Should be a high energy 3rd line that gets pucks on net at the very least. Having Hansen, Virtanen, Horvat, and Etem all split up is smart too. No matter who is on the ice, the other team is gonna have to be aware of the speed they can generate.

You shouldn't reward guys with ice time they don't deserve. What does that say about our organization. If McCann wants to play more he needs to be better which is hard for him to do with his size hence why he sits games for conditioning work. Right now, he's the most likely replacement for Sedin in a couple years. Put him in Utica next season with top line minutes and 1st unit powerplay and he'll develop there too. He made the jump from juniors to nhl and after 50 games, he's played 44 of them. It's not like he's been left out a whole lot.
