Derp...
Riley Barber is older than Shink with less points in the AHL, yet he's a better prospect? He's a rookie out of the NCAA, but still shouldn't two guys of similar age be measured equally if they play in the same league regardless of development path? Ossi Vaananen
Thanks for posting. Not a definitive list by any means. It appears to be mostly players in the last two drafts, with the odd college player being 20+. Does he say somewhere why some prospects are bolded? We have a solid prospect pool. This list would have been all Canucks if Virtanen/McCann/Horvat/Hutton didn't make the bigs. It's good to see Craig acknowledge Brisebois/Olson, but it also means a snub to Gaunce/Subban. Wonder where Vitanen and McCann would have placed. Virtanen and McCann both in top 5 if they included NHL .

DownUndaCanuck
Tate Olsen may be the steal of the draft the way he's going so far but it's still very early days. He'll probably need another year in junior and then a bit of time in Utica before we get a decent idea about him but luck was bound to hit us eventually on defence, because he's exactly what we need (if he pans out). If I were JB I'd be looking hard at trying to snag one of those many fantastic Philadelphia defensive prospects. That team is stacked on the blueline already with young guys, and one name in particular is Sanheim. He played well with Virtanen in junior and is the sort of player we could really use. With the emergence of the Ghost and Provorov on the back-end, Sanheim is the forgotten guy who could be had for a young forward and we've got Shinkaruk or Gaunce to dangle. This guy is hyped, especially with the eastern media. The 2014 draft was actually quite good looking back. Dal Cole is the only one that looks like a question mark. Drakrami
How's Nylander #1 and Rantanen so low? Now that makes no sense. Gaunce is our #4.
