TheHitman
If anything we should try to take on Orpiks contract from Washington and get an asset from them in return. Only one year left on Orpiks deal too so we can try to swing a deal with him at trade deadline. I'm afraid Vegas might beat us to the deal though. Maybe we could swing a deal that gets us that young guy, while we take on Orpik? Would they want Goldobin or Hutton?

I also think he'll be headed to a contending team.

We aren't about to land any big free agents this summer and both of them just had 50 point seasons. I'd say 4-4.5 mill would be a more realistic paycut for them. If they were, I could see the Sedins coming back at 3 million but that's probably the biggest paycut they'll take. Have to remember that they're the standard leaders on this team and provide experience that young players don't have.
Nuxfanabroad
It's a great question that awaits 2 things: - Sedins' decision - all the crazy swapping/deals at the draft
Nuxfanabroad
Whatever we do, I'm hoping JB goes into the next couple seasons with 3~5 mill of cap space(manoeuvrability) purposefully kept open. As injuries hit, & teams get desperate(with strong seasons in swing), it would be great to be in position with a lot of available cap room. CaptainLinden16
I know this is unpopular, but I say bring back Sbisa. He is better than Hutton, Del Zotto, Pouliot, or whomever else not named Edler on the LD. I mean within reason. If he wants 4x4 then no thanks. 4 years at 2.5M would be perfect.
