Bombastik der Teutone
The Blackhawks would like to terminate the Contract of Defender Michael Fora who has terminated his Contract with Carolina and signed with Ambri in Switzerland https://www.hcap.ch/it/article/141/michael-fora-torna-in-biancobl Quote The Ambrì-Piotta Hockey Club is pleased to announce the return of Michael Fora in the biancoblù shirt. The 22-year-old defender left for North America last June after signing a contract with the Carolina Hurricanes NHL franchise. After playing a game in AHL with the farm team, the Charlotte Checkers, the North American company decided to send it to the Florida Everblades ECHL team and as a result the parties decided to terminate the contract. As previously announced when Fora had left overseas, the contract between the Leventinese company and the player provided for an exit clause for North America and remained in force until the 2020-2021 season. Michael immediately expressed the desire to return home and continue to fight with his old team. The company has shown its willingness to bring back the defender in Leventina and in this regard the club biancoblù is keen to thank the friends of the Economic Council who have made possible the implementation of the operation. Quote LATEST NEWS OCT 21, 6:02 PM EDT Fora will return to HC Ambri-Piotta in Switzerland, TSN.com reports. ANALYSIS After clearing waivers, Fora will return to his former Swiss team for the remainder of the 2018-19 season. Fora played in only one game for AHL Charolette this season, and did not record a point. we have signed him right after he signed his contract with Carolina IRL and not when he was in Europe ...so all should be fine. there was some high exceptions in Fora but it seems he´s not even AHL Caliber Edited October 22, 2018 by Bombastik der Teutone

With such a young roster do you enforce a no Fort Nite policy? 1

D-Money
Despite still being fairly high in the standings, the Kings are leaning towards retooling this year. Certain developments make us question whether we'll be able to contend in the playoffs, as we are mostly lacking top-line players from the RL contenders (Tampa, Winnipeg, Nashville, San Jose, Pittsburgh, Washington). And our franchise D-man, Drew Doughty, is on a real-life team that looks to be a tire-fire this year. However, we have a number of solid players from playoff teams, that we are open to offers on. We aren't going to blow it up, but are willing to listen on a number of players, and will make a deal for them if we think there is a strong enough future benefit. Here is our current roster. Red = available, Blue = available depending on NTC/NMC list, Black = not available (either want to keep, or unable to move due to contractual/GM rep reasons): Alex Debrincat - Tyler Seguin - Alex Radulov Alex Killorn - Mikael Backlund - Craig Smith Zach Hyman - Vladimir Sobotka - Connor Brown Jordan Martinook - Andrew Copp - Ryan Reaves Dmitry Orlov - Drew Doughty Esa Lindell - Colin Miller Niklas Kronwall - Dan Girardi Braydon Coburn, Travis Dermott Devan Dubnyk Joonas Korpisalo David Rittich Also open to offers on the following players in the minors. Each is a potential playoff player/call-up: F: Emil Pettersson, Pontus Aberg, Mikka Salomaki, Shane Gersich, Travis Boyd D: Ethan Prow, Carson Soucy, Michael Kapla Edited October 23, 2018 by D-Money
Monty
The New York Rangers have signed the following players: Saku Maenalanen: 2 x $700k Cameron Hughes: 3 x $650k @JimLahey @Nail
JimLahey
New York welcomes Hughes & Maenalanen. After terrorizing the WJC a few years ago, Saku has made the jump to NA in the Carolina system playing well for Charlotte after a big year in Finland. Hughes finished his university career well and we hope his first taste of pro hockey in the Bruins system continues to be a success. Both players will start in the minors. Popular Post CDCFL Insider
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee are back my friends, I took a nice little vacation following the free agent frenzy, and am back to share some rumblings I have heard around the league... After making statement offseason acquisitions in Cory Schneider and Filip Forsberg, the Nashville Predators have stumbled out of the gate and currently sit 23rd in the league. With NHL producing players such as Tyler Betuzzi, Lawson Crouse and Jesse Puljujarvi buried in the minors, and Jared McCann lost for free on waivers, could GM @lethunder's job be in jeopardy? There has been no comment yet from Nashville ownership or a league representative on this matter. San Jose has been speaking to a few teams, mostly in the Central, about moving Jacob Trouba. Apparently the star defenseman has been clashing with forward Evander “Money Phone” Kane. Just speculating here, but I think Trouba's hometown Detroit Red Wings would be a very good fit, they are still in the Central Division until Seattle joins CDCFL. Speaking of Seattle, I have received an unconfirmed report that the league will begin its GM search for the expansion Seattle team this summer. The league will look to have something similar to the Vegas procedure, where GM @Nail was hired in place almost a year in advance. With the Metro division so stacked, it appears as though a really good team is going to miss out on the post-season, even though we’re 10 games in. The Boston Bruins and the New York Rangers are going to have to decide whether they’ll push for the playoffs or not. Hearing free agent forward Ben Street has been weighing his options and will look to sign with an NHL club in the next week. The forward has 5 points in 10 games this season and has been a key role player for the injury plagued Ducks. Carolina appears to have two separate deals on the table to move out Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Josh Brook. Two terrific young prospects who will most definitely have bright futures in the league. Not sure what the GM @Monty is thinking there, he must have something against players of Hab Descent. After a hot start, the Minnesota Wild have dropped in the standings. While the GM is not panicking, @Canuck Surfer has also grown impatient with “prospect” Michael Dal Colle. The reported asking price on MDC has dropped, and he could be available for as low as a 3rd Round Pick. Following up on a recent report that the Chicago Blackhawks may look to shop Vezina winner Sergei Bobrovsky at some point this season, it is expected the Carolina Hurricanes, New Jersey Devils, Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins will take a look at the pending UFA, as the Blackhawks hope to ship him East. All eyes around the league will be on the Columbus Blue Jackets to see what they do with impending UFAs Blake Wheeler and Logan Couture. Surely, they can't re-sign both can they? Rumours are swirling that this is what GM @winterhawks intends to do, but my senses are one could be dangled for a top defencemen... Finally, I can report there has been no news on a potential extension for Auston Matthews, and the two sides haven't began talking extension just yet. Just like real life, people around the league are curious if Matthews' new contract will exceed the contract given to Connor McDavid. That's all from me for now, it is back to work at the office time which means I'll be doing my best to rummage around and find the juiciest rumours you'll see on CDC. As always, drop me a line in my inbox if you have anything that needs to be shared! Until next week! 1 1
