Jaku
Anaheim Ducks 2020 draft recap: Marco Rossi- 4th Overall (9th OA) -5 Seth Jarvis - 15th overall (13th OA) +2 Bogdan Trineyev - 82nd overall (117th OA) -35 Brock Faber - 91st overall (45th OA) +46 Owen Pederson - 127th overall (Undrafted) Alex Lafferiere - 133rd overall (83rd OA) +50 Will Cranley - 146th overall (163rd OA) -17 Maksim Berezkin - 152nd overall (138 OA) +14 Jake Flynn - 154th overall (Undrafted) Rory Kerins - 155th overall (174 overall) -19 Pavel Tyutnev - 157th overall (Undrafted) Far more players than I wanted went undrafted. Pavel Tyutnev being a little surprising late in the draft. Thought for sure someone would have taken a 7th round shot at the highly skilled winger. Overall it's what we needed, we got good value in certain areas and Minnesota stole Rossi at 9. Jarvis brings wing upside that we desperately need. The IRL Sabres should be ashamed of themselves taking Quinn over Rossi.
Canuck Surfer
Boston Draft Day Recap Bad first? We traded Timo Meier for quantity; did get promising young D Filip Hronek with 2 years left under $1 mill. And a mitt full of ordinary draft picks. Needed cap.! We traded a 3rd and 5th next year for 128th and 130th. Got bombed on both. Not bad? We did ok on the draft floor as a whole? Ian Moore D Picked 87th overall +20 Went 67th Antonio Stranges Picked 129th overall -4 Went 123rd Dmitri Zlodeyev Picked 122knd overall -53 Went 175th I like this pick tho, not just because Canucks picked... Karel Klikorka Picked 128th Overall Oomph Not drafted & I teased @pmalina that I stole his pick Oskar Magnusson Picked 130th overall -81 At least he went? 211 to Washington The good? This prospect went in the 1st round with our last pick! Yegor Chinakhov Picked 151st overall + 130 1 2

I was dressing Chinakhov to be picked with my last (156) pick though. And then it all happened. Edited October 8, 2020 by pmalina

Sygvard
BUFFALO DRAFT REPORT Buffalo is happy to report that we had no clean misses this year. After a particularly volatile draft, all of our targets were drafted, and landed within the first 5 rounds. We saw a couple modest slides, but I was encouraged that each of the slides ended with a team trading-up to snap up the clear falling value. Outside of this we saw modest gains across the board, with some validation of our two 1sts, as well as one of our 4ths climb their way into the 2nd round. Our Pick NHL Pick Alexander Holtz 8 7 1 Rodion Amirov 20 15 5 K. Simontaival 66 66 0 Danil Guschin 69 76 -7 John Ludvig 75 69 6 Brandon Coe 90 98 -8 Yegor Sokolov 98 61 37 Evan Vierling 101 127 -26 D. Ovchinnikov 143 137 6 In terms of composition, our selections are forward heavy in a year that was packed with good forwards. Up high we targeted some game breaking offense, and took some gambles on some undersized but electric forwards. Our mid rounds filled out some big bodies for the scoring system in Coe and Sokolov, as well as an undrafted 3rd round D from last year who has since exploded with offensive. Down low we targeted the kind of individual skills and tools that we think have a chance to elevate a late pick above their inevitable flaws. Thanks to @thejazz97, @Salter, @Master Mind, and @Jaku for their work this week, and with the upcoming free agent tire-fire. We continue to love the league, and live for the draft. Here is to another year of inevitable mediocrity from the Buffaslugs! Edited October 8, 2020 by Sygvard 3
