theo5789 Posted August 28, 2019 Share Posted August 28, 2019 Hunwick was likely going to be a 7/8 dman for them this year anyway. They might've waived him anyway to just put them under the cap. I guess he rather LTIRetire rather than play in the AHL. It is very convenient for them. Still have to sort out what to do with 4 NHL caliber RD at the moment though. Furthermore, his salary is not even that much.
