It also appears he’s playing 4th line minutes. No cause for panic, as he has a lot of time. But he’s also not forcing the coaches to take a longer look. I suspect the reason he wasn’t claimed was his $1.5M salary. Could see a hockey trade IRL, now that he has cleared waivers. We would have to make room for those Players but i wont rush Things in the 1st 2 Weeks of the Season. Luxory #2 : Goaltending . With Mrazek , Stalock and Montembeault we have 3 Active NHL Goalies in the Organisation. Mrazek is no option to get moved out cuz he is our Starter . Monty seems a Guy for the Future , so also not available. That leaves Alex Stalock OTB. We offered him several Times but there seems to be Teams that do not need a Backup. Further moving Stalock would open us some more Cap Space. If Börnfot has succes , we may be open to move one of our Top 6 Defenders or Yannick Weber.
