For whatever reason, Baertschi and Goldobin weren't a "good fit" on this team. Moving on, this is the Canucks roster to start the season. I like it, a lot. Maybe Eriksson actually plays well? We should be pulling for him IMO. He'll likely be traded at some point, but until then he's still a Canuck. The guy just came back from a serious concussion and was making strides towards getting his game back and then they hit him with this? He didn’t have an amazing camp but it was better than a lot of other guys that made the roster. I thought they could have at least given him the benefit of the doubt. What if Gaud plays first 10 NHL games and we don’t see the same player we saw in pre season. What if Pearson doesn’t have that same chemistry with Bo? Keeping Baer gave us options.
