On the bright side you've got a job! Gotta stay grateful for that :)

Far too many people without jobs these days or hurting with business revenues being crushed

You are correct, yes I'm grateful. Though I am a little sad at the state we are in as a society in general. Hopefully we get through this and come out stronger, more united in the long run

Michalek - Thornton - Pavelski

Clowe - Marleau - Cheechoo

JVR - Malhotra - Bernier

Bowman - Goc - Ortmeyer

Carle - Ehrhoff

Methot - Vlasic

Wishart - Gorges

Lehtonen

Auld

Out: Murray, Brown

In: Wishart, Bowman/McGinn

San Jose intends to go into the 2010/11 season with nearly the same lineup. We hope to see JVR take another step forward, and to give more ice time to rookies Wishart, Bowman, and McGinn.

With a handful of players on the last year of their deals, we know this is the last season that this core will have together. Anyone interested in a forward should reach out next offseason.

To Pittsburgh:

Mathieu Garon

To Detroit:

Future Considerations

The Detroit Red Wings would like to thank Garon for his time here - let this be a note to all future free agents, we have high morals unlike the real life red wings and will send you somewhere to get playing time if we can't accommodate it here ;)

@Patrick Kane is it possible for us to recall Holtby from our minors in Garons spot? I believe he should be eligible... he's RFA and he was already getting shelled at grand rapids from the looks of the AHL stats.

Second of all... Oh wow... I got all my guys pretty much. Now I'm kicking myself thinking I offered too high on all of them... Did no one else offer on these guys?! :(

Hopefully I didn't wreck my team cap wise, I'm pretty happy with the #s tbh... Can't complain!

Happy with the roster we have going in to this season being able to keep our forward core in tact while adding solid pieces to the roster such as Toni Lydman who will immensely help our defense core playing quality minutes in all situations. With guys like St.Louis and Naslund at their tail ends of their career, we feel this is the year we can make a good push for the cup. Emerging stars like Benn, Richards and Carter are ready to take on bigger roles while Halak has come into his own as a bonafide start goaltender.

PHILADELPHIA FLYERS 2010-2011 ROSTER

Jamie Benn - Jeff Carter [A] - Martin St.Louis [C]
Markus Naslund - Mike Richards [A] - Claude Giroux

Matt Cullen - Brandon Sutter - David Backes

Rene Bourque - Jeff Halpern - Adam Hall

Mark Giordano - Toni Lydman

Joni Pitkanen - Kurtis Foster

Ron Hainsey - Niclas Wallin

Jaroslav Halak
