HighOnHockey Posted April 30, 2022 Share Posted April 30, 2022 (edited) Couple fun prospect notes for the Sharks. Reilly Walsh with his first NHL game and had an assist the other night. Last year I called Fyodor Svechkov the most clutch player in the draft. In game five of the MHL finals, with the series tied at two, Svechkov scored the opening goal and the game winning goal. He had another goal in a blowout loss in game six, and in game seven he assisted on the first two goals of the game in an eventual 3-2 win to clinch the championship. After seemingly everyone and their grandma had written off Sasha Chmelevski, he has 8 points in 19 games since being called up after trade deadline. Drafted as an offensive dynamo, he's put in work in the AHL to develop his two-way game, and since his call-up he's been playing a regular shift on the Sharks' PK.
