Guest Posted October 6, 2021 Share Posted October 6, 2021 Podkolzin has been showing flashes of what he will be able to do in the future. He had one shift in the defensive zone, with less then 5 minutes left where he knocked Donskoi off his feet, and then knocked down a Kraken dman 10 seconds later with a hit. He also had some good offensive zone time earlier in the 1st, but to me Podkolzin just looks nervous. Of course it could be being in a new country, new league... but it could also be the fact that he is new to all his teammates. Anyways the good news is that he has a very good game, so it will just take time and definitely don't think that we should be pushing him into icetime or elevated deployment.
