Holy &^@#ing Homer Simpson.  Can this guy get fired already for years of the worst homerism national television has ever seen?

Singh is even more of a dirtbag.  A simple solution might be to switch their assignments and see if that gets them to start acting like professionals.

There's no amount of corruption that can make up for Rielly's atrocious play in his own zone.  Laffs got lucky tonight.

Leading the 2 time defending Cup Champs is more than luck.

They're beating themselves.  Their top players are still lazy floaters and Rielly is still nowhere close to an NHL quality player with his refusal to learn how to play defence.  Tampa will wake up after this one.

5-2 it worked.

They got lucky.  No reason to play a defenceman who can't play defence when trying to hold a lead, especially with Toronto's history of choking.  Over the course of a playoff series, decisions like that will cost them.

OK, let's look at things objectively, Canucks fans.  Hear ye, hear ye.

The Oilers are playing the best hockey they've played in 32 years.  They look on par with Colorado and Florida.  The Flames haven't done anything yet to suggest they won't get out of the first round.

So, our arch rivals, the Flames and Oilers, are playing the best hockey they've played in decades and look unstoppable.  Wouldn't you rather Toronto be the Canadian team to win it all rather than the Flamers or Soilers?

Edmonton is playing at other worldly levels right now (Remember how they dismantled Colorado in that last home game).  I'd much rather see the Leafs in the SCF than those 2 scumbag teams.  And, honestly, the Leafs look OK right now but the Oilers are playing like soon-to-be Stanley Cup champs, which is terrifying.

So, Go Leafs Go!

Marner is shutting up all the doubters, playing like a man-on-a-mission.

22+ mins (led the forward group)

1 assist

7 shots (led the team)

4 blocked shots (led the team)

who cares as long as JT doesn't show up Toronto will be a 1 line team that won't get far even if they get out of the 1st.. and we all know Toronto's record in close out games if they get there lol

I very much hate to say it, but the Leafs are looking pretty good. They seem to win all the key faceoffs - obviously, Manny Malthotra's influence. Marner and Matthews are looking a lot more even-keeled out there than prior years. Their bottom 6 plays their roles very well. Even my friends who are Leafs fans are not too cocky - they are not talking about planning the parade but just getting out of the first round.

If the Lightning somehow beat the Leafs, then I'm going Lightning all the way.
