To TOR: Braden Schneider FLA 2023 3rd Round Draft Selection To FLA: PIT 2023 1st Round Draft Selection* VGK 2023 2nd Round Draft Selection * - Pick is top 2 protected. If pick is in top 2 of entry draft, pick returns to Toronto and FLA receives their 3rd back, as well as ANA 2023 2nd Round Draft Selection This was a hard move to make, but we felt very strongly we needed to get another 1st round pick in this coming draft. It happened that Schneider was the player generating the most interest, so we had to pull the trigger. Activate Matt Luff from LTIR please. Updated Roster: Matthew Tkachuck - JG Pageau - Clayton Keller Frank Vatrano - Sean Monahan - Olle Lycksell Jason Dickinson - Joe Veleno - Carson Meyer Boris Katchouk - Derek Stepan - Matt Luff Beck Malenstyn - Dylan Gambrell Caleb Jones - Dylan Coghlan Dylan Samberg - Brayden Pachal Dmitry Kulikov - Robert Hagg Jake Walman Jake Allen Anthony Stolarz LTIR: Jake Bean

Happy to have him, never wanted to move him. We’ve been after Freddie for awhile and ecstatic to get him into the fold for a chance to finally win the CDCGML Cup I miss Mikey too Good kid. If pick is in top 2 of entry draft, pick returns to Toronto and FLA receives their 3rd back, as well as ANA 2023 2nd Round Draft Selection Toronto is excited to add Braden to the team. We didn't expect to move out our 2023 PIT 1st this year, but when the opportunity of acquiring Schnieder and his 3x1 aav ELC to the squad it was hard to pass on. Hopefully his #'s improve over the next couple years, if they do he could add a great boost to our contention status over the next 3-4 years. We still have some draft capital going into the 2023 draft, and we intend to hang onto that. As much as we're pushing for contention in Toronto, we want to maintain a solid prospect pool to avoid the roster from becoming stale. Been receiving interest in F Lucas Raymond. Not actively shopping, but if an offer hits our table that too hard to pass on he could be moved before the TDL.

Gator
ROMAN JOSI AVAILABLE? Anyone looking for a future #1 Dman is strongly urged to contact the Maple Leafs to inquire about the availability of D Roman Josi. It's said that they have been open to discussing trades for the future hall of fame, but have also not ruled out the possibility of riding out the year, and trying to extend him at years end. Hearing the ideal return would be a top 6 forward OR top 4 Dman on team friendly deal for 3-4 years + 1st + ?.. Also hearing they would agree to possible conditions on picks tied to playoff appearance/extention. Not everyday there is a chance to trade for a premiere defenseman such as Josi, but now might just be that day. Going to be interesting to see how this develops leading up to the TDL.
