And when it comes to trying to dangle someone his stick is too long and way too far out infront of him that even if he does manage to dangle through someones stick or feet, hes still like 3-4ft back from the player and still has to skate around them. Idk its just something I’ve always kinda noticed when he has the puck. He used to be able to execute it just fine back in his first season. I'm thinking that spine injury affected his ability to pull his arms across with as much speed as before. Looks labored and I can't think of another NHLer with a longer release than him.
