That's the quickest they've ever stopped the Leafs broadcast....

Fabulous game....

Whole team played well...

Special mention to

Demko, Myers, Miller and Petey...

And in particular Brisebois, Juulsen and Wolanin

They barely waited for the game to end.

Couldn't get out of there fast enough.

CBC = Canadian Bullshit Corporation.

Because he believes a true #1 should be a more compete Dman.

unfortunately this is entirely subjective to what each club needs. And in our case, we needed an O driver from the backend  that can skate like Paul Coffey. And we got him. He’s a definitive #1 and the best cotmdamn O Dman we’ve ever had in 53 years.

The best defense can be good offense.  But Quinn is just fine defensively even if he's not a crease-clearing cave man: great stick and positional play.  Whether you go by +/- or fancier stats like expected goals, the numbers all say the same thing:  this guy tilts the ice massively in our favour.  No matter who you put him with, they are our best pairing and all the pairings he's not on are a disaster.  Hopefully Hronek changes that last part, and one day we get Quinn a partner he doesn't have to carry, but what he's doing here is absolutely phenomenal.

Damn, that felt good. Not sure who I love seeing the Canucks beat more, the Leafs, or the Leafs Booster Club,  ala Rogers et all.

So is this the game that costs them the tank race?

And anyone getting excited again about the Canucks might think about last year where they went on a run where they still didn't make the playoffs. Is this really the team that's going to get us into the playoffs or even advance beyond the first round?

Well, neither are the Leafs and that horrible defense. They are worse than the Canucks current backend.

Big thanks to Schenn for waking the team up early and getting Toronto in over their heads.  He can come back next year.

So true. Love it when Leafs pretend to be tough. Schenn shouldn't try to drag that team into the ally.

Awesome effort from the Boyz today.  Getting majority of scoring from the Petey line, clutch goaltending from Demko and generally a more active team defense boxing out.

Leafs sigh omg...have some work to do if they want to advance  Two shorthanded goals on the same penalty?

Felt a bit like a playoff atmosphere at times today with some physicality and Leafs did not impress. Not a good combination should they face a Tampa team that's even faster than the Canucks.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the candy-assed Laffs on their powerplays, skating around and around the perimeter afraid to approach the net.

Dirty Underpants was the worst!  Every shift, a non-factor; and Johnny Pajamas was nothing after Myers leveled him.

This was huge for me. All the naysayers who want Miller moved don't realize that Petey gets it. He knows who's helping him along on this team. This "they're not bff's" narrative is so dramatic and, to me, pathetic. They don't need to go to the mall together, they need to work well on the ice together. They do that.

Besides, you need a grumpy bear out there....notice who it was that was turning up the heat when the Leafs tried to be "bold" (for lack of a better word)? Myers, Burroughs, Joshua and....JT (who didn't shy away from Schenn even though it could've turned ugly).

So true. They know they are polar opposites, but have one thing in common and want to win. They know that this can work as they each respect what the other brings to the team.
