This could be the biggest choke in NHL history.

Nah, The Oilers blew a 5-0 lead to the Los Angeles Kings in the third period of the third game of the Smythe Division semifinal at The Great Western Forum on the way to a 6-5 overtime loss in a series the Kings, who finished 48 points behind them, would win in five games.

He's already there and has been for a while.

Staal is also not a good dman anymore, he should be number 7 or 8 on a good team.

Yea he has already but only happened this season. What I meant to say is Ekblad's game fell off significantly (partly due to injury) and Montour's emergence made that less of an issue for panthers.

Would be nice if we traded for him lol...panthers only paid a 3rd rounder to get him from Buffalo.

Losing in Game 7 O/T is not much of a choke job.

Didn’t Boston have one of the best regular seasons in history though. Game 7 or not I think a first round exit would be pretty hilarious

The Miracle on Manchester....

Pretty much paved the way for the Canucks' first run to the Cup finals....

Still not a choke imo, this type of battle a series loss is far from a choke. Just a great series.

Bruins were supposed to run away with this in 5 ... so a bit choke-ish if they lose in OT .... which I certainly hope the Bears  do bow out.
