shadowscyne
Marc-Andre Gragnani has signed a 2 way deal with the Carolina Hurricanes. Split time between Buffalo and Vancouver last season. Worth 800k in NHL. He looked promising on Canucks powerplay. suolucidir
Was like having Raymond on D, the way he circled the offensive zone.

Alexander.Edler
Wasn't Gragnani AHL defence man of the year? And 7 points in 7 playoff games with Buffalo. Yea he wasn't too great defensively but it takes time adjusting to a new team and I don't think he was given a real chance to prove himself. I think he will be a good offensive defence man, and a steal for 800k.
Zedlee
So we traded Hodgson and Sulzer for Kassian. Getting Gragnani was a FAIL by Gillis.
Fanuck
The guy is a former AHL defenceman of the year, scored near a point per game in his last year of AHL and is only 25 years old. It was certain a team, some team, would take a gamble on him. With a two-way contract there really is no risk there for CAR.
TOMapleLaughs
The SE division is appropiate for him. He'll probably do alright in Carolina. They should be a playoff team this season. This is the last entry-level year for Skinner, so they might want to make a big push for some more significant moves. Too bad they're out of the Nash hunt. (Likely because Howson wanted Skinner.) kloubek
...and so it becomes Sulzer and Hodgson for Kassian. What a deal.
Langdon Algur
Wasn't this this guy people in the Hodgson trade said was the reason we won the trade?
Edler's Mind Tricks
Should have an opportunity in Carolina! A bit shallow on the back-end so he should slide in nicely. If he starts producing, he could take off playing behind the Staals. Good luck! I say 30+ points and -12.
Jaku
Good Luck in Carolina MA.. Gunna need it.
TOMapleLaughs
What's funny about 'Joslin for Grags' is that while they're both quite horrible at defensem Grags has some speed and offensive flair. Joslin's speed isn't great and his offensive upside is almost nil. Sounds like these transactions were AV approved. Lol. This move has little impact, but it's hard not to notice that this team is gradually slowing down.
