Mr. Ambien
The Patriots also had the staff and development team which aided Brady in the NFL. Had Parcells and the Jets picked him.. I seriously doubt he would be the same Brady. If only the Jets' problems were so superficial and minor to just throw a player in and save them. It's clear this is an upper management problem. Bruce Boudreau
Running with pads is a bigger concern than the tackling. If you've ever played rugby, you would know not every tackle is really a "wrap" per se, you can still absolutely blow a guy up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Owvp3YwdOM Yeah, no full speed hits or bad intentions there. More than a few of these are just as big as any hit you will see in the NFL. At 6'2, 220lbs, and being one of the best rugby players in the world (he's freaking fast), I have little doubt he will at least make a practice squad. If he can pick up the nuances of the game he will be able to make an impact, probably more so as a return specialist, but an impact nonetheless. Interesting... but if I'm not mistaken he plays Australian rules football which has some differences from rugby and I don't think it is as physical. I know rugby is a really rough game but Australian rules seem to have some key differences about it.
Mr. Ambien
Usually when I think of records and the Niners, it's the Niners setting them. Sucks that Manning has a decent chance of breaking that career TD record against the Niners (and thus get to see highlights of the Niners having this record set against them for many years) if he throws three. Of course, I'd also be amazed if I'm still watching the NFL by this decade's end. Edited October 16, 2014 by Mr. Ambien

If you're interested at all in learning how to distinguish between the two (and the NFL too I guess) this chart gives you a pretty good grasp on the major differences: Edited October 16, 2014 by Jägermeister
TheRussianRocket.
Pouring down in Gillette. Brady is 2-0 against the Jets on TNF and 12-2 or something since 2002 on TNF. Oh, and Belichick is pumped for this game lol....on Pats website where he discusses game plans the week before, he was showing video and saying in what round each player was picked....this is gonna be a blowout. TheRussianRocket.
Revis gonna play some wideout tonight lol?? Guy plays corner like one so why not. Would be icing on the cake On a side note- @RyanHannable: Julian Edelman is getting ready for the game by catching balls that have been dropped into puddles before being thrown to him. @RyanHannable: The Patriots are tied for first in the NFL with a +9 turnover differential, the Jets are tied for the worst with -9. NucksPatsFan
Decker vs Revis all night in a downpour. Hopefully Revis's cleats are better.
Jiggs50
Jets have a legitimate defensive line. Bradys going to get rocked if that Oline can't hold up. Don't be so easy to glance over this game Patriot fans...

Jiggs50
Pats can't stop the run. Geno needs to use his feet more too! Of course the refs are the only ones who can stop that Jets run game... Edited October 17, 2014 by Jiggs50

He clearly had his jersey and hand. Decker slipped near the end cause of the hold and the slippery ground. The holding penalty on the Jets td was more questionable imo

Jim Daopoulos @RefereeJimD 9m9 minutes ago I think that was an accidental trip and not defensive holding on Revis on that last call....too technical! But hey, you're entitled to your opinion. Refs have also missed a bunch of calls on both teams. Terrible crew. Edited October 17, 2014 by NucksPatsFan

NucksPatsFan
Certainly hope defensive adjustments are made at half time, also hope someone tells McDaniel's that there's other running backs than Ridley who can run the ball.
