This all depends on how many minutes he gets. If he gets less than 15 minutes a game, it will be hard.

He will also need to have at least some PP time.

I have always said, if you give most players enough shifts, they will produce (some don't regardless, cough cough Gomez)

I would put him up against smaller opposing forwards and have him use his physical play.

I would say between 16-19, pace for 32 over 82 games would be realistic.

However, you never know. This is going to be a weird season and he's already played 28 games this year compared with many who have played less or none at all, so maybe he'll be in better game shape.

Anything over 16 and I'll be stoked.

5 goals 10 assists +3 career is my expectation. and 3 points per playoff series. I'm more worried about his plus minus though. He needs to be responsible and if he moves into the plus side of things career nhl wise that's a great improvement over last season.

I'm pleasantly surprised by people not having high expectations and possibly a little surprised to see people being overly pessimistic.

But, as far as predictions, since we don't know if he'll play with the Sedins or any line below that, or how many games he'll play, or if he'll go back to the Wolves (at any point), it's pretty much a crapshoot to predict anything. How about we just let him play and see what happens since we can't even predict what role he'll have or if he'll even stick with the team.

I'm doubtful he breaks 15 to be honest. But I hope he proves me wrong. If he plays with the Sedins, obviously he'll get more, but you guys are forgetting that AV isn't exactly the most patient person with young players. If Kassian goes a couple of games without producing (as he most likely will), he'll slap Burrows back on the top line in an instant and Kassian will be relegated to scrub minutes.
