Luongo After Hours

Man loving Lu more and more. Totally classy handling some of the tougher questions re: trades, playing time and absolutely hilarious the rest of the time.

LOVE how he told the story about the "bathroom fiasco" in Anaheim.

Cory and Luongo are both funny as hell when they want to be.

"They love their backups in Vancouver, that's why I'm a fan favourite right now" - Luongo

It was funny to paint the whole fan scenario in a light hearted way, but a part of me really thinks he is fed up with this fanbase which is 100% warranted from him

The photoshopped pic of Luongo and Schneider...

"Notice how much taller I am"

 Lu's golden, probably the best After Hours I've seen.

Awesome after hours. No matter what happens, I will always be a fan of Luongo.

My moustache tingles when Lu speaks.

Very good interview. I don't think he said anything this time he'll need to appologize for. Lol

He seems much more humble and mature. I was very impressed.

good interview, luongo showed more personality in those few minutes than the last 4 years combined

i respect scott oake for trying to coax personality out of the most boring athletes on the planet, and i respect his attempts at humanizing athletes and bringing them down to our level, but as another poster said, he's very awkward about it. after hours, in theory, seems like a good idea, but week after week it's almost embarrassing to view it

Luongo is playing well on the ice and he is doing well off the ice. Rather than making controversial comments, Luongo is showing a funny and pleasant personality to the fans.

Scott Oake is a moron.

He gets dissed by most players, especially Canucks.

Really great to see a very high profile and highly paid athlete get it.

Took him a few years and a lot of trials and tribulations:heartache, injuries, professional success and loss,marriage,children,etc..

After watching his renaissance season and seeing that interview it is hard to believe Gillis.org would ditch him for a goalie with one playoff victory to his name.

He definately seems more at ease this year (both in interviews and on-ice) and that can only be a good thing for the team. We're lucky that Lu (and Schneider) are handling this situation as professionally as they are. Probably the average guy would have gone off the deep end by now.
