Nuxfanabroad
Real happy if they keep him in our organization. Go get'em Manny-best of luck in your next career-stage! Maybe he's got some Scotty Bowman in him?...

MayRayDown
Good on Malhottra. Class act. Would still think he'll look for a job as a player in the offseason
Sixteen W's
Wait. Is he done as a player now? Did the team FORCE this guy to retire when he said he felt okay to play? Malhotra's one of the nicest players I've seen on this team, and if there's a rift between him and the team I'm taking his side.
aGENT
Couldn't think of anyone more qualified to help teach our prospects. Best of luck in that role Manny.

PlayStation
The big club seems to be missing him, wish we could have him behind the bench, even if he didnt do much. Dont know if its possible for a player under contract to be behind the bench. (I assume there is a max. number of people allowed behind the bench as well...) But I'd rather of him stayed around the big team.

Kevin Biestra
NHL Player... AHL Assistant Coach. I wonder if Manny thinks of it as a promotion.
CrippledCanuck
He could possibly not be done as a player but I doubt he will be back, He may be coaching his contract term out and then attempt to sign with another team. I Doubt that another team would take a chance on him if they watched the same footage AV and GMMG has, scanned the same medical records and talked to top eye doctors. Players are passionate about what they do and sometimes cannot accept when a career is done if it isnt on there own terms and how they imagined it would happen, to their own detriment. Riviera82
Good for Manny. Maybe one day soon he'll have AV's job.
theminister
Since our on-ice strategy seems to be flagging so much I think that Manny could conceivably get better results than AV right now. Manny is a guy that the team would go to war for. Motivationally it would be a step up, I think.
Mauii
He would be great in that role. I hope he'll consider it. Good on the Canucks for taking care of their players.
