Raymond Ballard and a 1st
I know this is a bit early but I went and did some research on the 2014 NHL draft and of course the usual names of Ekblad, Nylander and Sam Reinhart came up. But one prospect that interested me was Hadyn Fleury. This guys huge, PLUS he's a great skater, which is normally rare with guys his size. AND he's only 16 right now. Imagine what he could be like on Draft Day. Here's a link on the 2014 Draft rankings as of last November: http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/showthread.php?t=1299837 Hadyn Fleury's profile: http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=119392 Let me know what you guys think. Can this guy be the real deal, shutdown defense man that many teams would kill to have?
Where's Wellwood
If he's as good as you say, then we'll have to fall pretty far to get him.
SkeeterHansen
If he's as good as you say, then we'll have to fall pretty far to get him. Fall? Haha good one. Sorry, I'm in a pretty pessimistic mood after tonight...

He's good, but at the moment he's ranked 26th. Though it is realistic he could go top ten.

Keslerific
Drafted him as a 3rd rounder in NHL 13, he became a 87 overall just years later haha. Did not know he was real.

Plum
Hadyn Fleury should be around 15-25ish according to some rankings. I think we'll fall somewhere around there.
John Tavares
Just came across this thread, and I saw his stats, his stats are okay, they're not great but he doesn't seem like he has top 10 potential with these stats 2013-14 Regular Season Red Deer Rebels 49 6 28 34 16 28 Opinions? R3aL
He's gonna be the 2nd or 3rd drafted dman in this draft most likley second unless a team goes Thomas hickey off the board ya diggggg, so no chance of drafting him unless we traded

Can this guy be the real deal, shutdown defense man that many teams would kill to have? we have enough shut down guys for the next 4 years. We need a mobile offensive dman. Tanev Hamhius, Bieksa Garrison Staton and Corrado coming up, all around shut down dmans, and since he's ranked in the teens, i'm not too sold on him unless he's the next Adam Foote, which is extremely unlikely and this is a weak draft. He's actually doing extremely well offensively so far this season. To put it into perspective, Mirco Mueller, who plays a fairly similar game to Fleury, had 31 points in 64 games his draft year, and went 18th overall. Zoolander
I read that him and his dad are big Oilers fans. That doesn't mean I wouldn't draft him, but I'd rather take a forward or two out of the top
