Warhippy
"No offence, but..." Don't worry, this came froma guy who said you'd need Luongo AND a 1st just to get Florida's 1st in this years draft
Allt svartnar
That was crap. Pure speculation. This is what I hear too. He makes it perfectly clear it is not facts but his guesses and perhaps even opinions. You people around here get so excited about anything at all! Warhippy
Wennberg is one heck of a sexy prospect. Him and Petan being chosen so closely, I keep forgetting the Peg took him, sadly I spend mroe time looking at Columbus than I do the peg, much more intriguing team this year But I still retain the stance that Johansen and a 1st or Rychel and Wennberg would be fair value return for Kesler

I would say the Islanders too but they are underachieving way too much. Ottawa has been improving too.
Blueberries
PEOPLE PLEASE. THIS WAS SPECULATION. GET A F'IN GRIP. Speculation from a true legit source. He hasnt been wrong. He gets paid for this stuff, this is no Eklund.

I would say the Islanders too but they are underachieving way too much. Ottawa has been improving too. The Isles and the Panthers will be two very good teams and very soon provided they can get genuine goaltending worth the name. So one could feasibly add Lack or Luongo to that list as well and ship out a ton of cap return with a ton of prospects that can make impacts as soon as next season and a glut of picks in this and or next years draft

Really, do you have the numbers on that one?... I don't even care if you choose to take this as gospel, but don't make a thread on it completely distorting it into a factual report. motzaburger
like i’ve been saying all along trade the older guys and slowly remove the sedins and plan to tank next year to bring in a kid like McDavid......really good for the long run and the franchise will be set for years. Whats a few bad years now compared to several winning years on the future.

So one could feasibly add Lack or Luongo to that list as well and ship out a ton of cap return with a ton of prospects that can make impacts as soon as next season and a glut of picks in this and or next years draft I believe that if the Islanders can find some stable goaltending, they can be a contender in the east. I'd even put them near the top of the Metropolitan. Before the start of the season I thought that they were a playoff team. Analyzing now I believe that they are just a goaltender away. Vanek - Tavares - Okposo is one of the hottest lines in hockey right now. I believe that they have stable D as well. Miller on the Islanders I think would make some noise. UFCanuck
Trading Edler/Burrows is a good idea. It's time to hit the refresh a bit, while still having a good team. Those two are looking very expendable right now, both in their play and salary.
