CowtownCanuck
He deserved it, but can Gillis now take this tape to Sheriff Shanny every time a Sedin is plowed into the boards in the same way? Definitely not the same manner of hit, but, where's the suspension/penalty on the "clean hit" from behind on Daniel during the Heritage Classic. No outdoor game is complete without a star getting injured
Nino
Ok I'm sorry, I just seen a different angle of it and he did have time. No problem.
KFBR392
Brutal hit. He probably deserved 5.
Mackcanuck
I think that Kassian could see that the guy's back was clearly exposed to him, Dillon was facing against the boards and Kass had plenty of time to not make the hit from behind!
Madness
Shouldn't be 3 games.
drdeath
If the Canucks are truly reduced to spoilers in the next few weeks they should all start showing their numbers along the boards. I'm sure plenty of players will take the bait like Kass.
-Vintage Canuck-
I don't' think anyone here is surprised Nope, not surprising at all.
Me_
Ok I'm sorry, I just seen a different angle of it and he did have time. You didn't have to admit you're wrong. But it takes a man to do so. Kudos.
Toni Zamboni
not surprised but i dont think this will hurt our chances of making the playoffs...cause with him or without him they arent making the playoffs.

Alex Burrows 14
I guess that's fair but I don't even know if it was suspension worthy, yes the hit was bad but it was also Dillons fault. He stopped turning. If he kept turning like kassian anticipated then it would have been fine but he stopped. Kassian looked like he tried to pull up but couldn't. I disagree and I don't think he left his feet.
RunningWild
This gong show adds to an already crazy season. NHL doesn't have clue what they're doing - that much is clear.
redhdlois
And bring him up into this mess to screw up his confidence? lol yup, you bet
Baggins
Thought he would get 5 as a repeat offender, so 3 is fair. With it being his second suspension this season I expected a minimum of five. You're right, we really can't complain about three.
prana16
You mean the one that failed to make any contact with Sedin? lol. well considering that Dillon played on the subsequent 5 min major penalty with no injury and kassian was tossed from the game I personally find a multi game suspension for a hit that did no damage at all a little overkill and inconsistent (suprise suprise) If the league is basing the suspension on "the hit could have had a worse outcome" well Lupul's elbow was nothing but a vicious attempt to injure that failed spectacularly on multiple camera angles. If intent over outcome is what is punished Lupul's was worse.
JeremyCuddles
Whatever makes tanking easier. Would probably be better for us losing wise if he was in the lineup...
hsedin33
Three is fair, I was thinking we would get 3-4. So how is that Cody-Kassian trade looking so far?

CanucksHockey11
Ik he's a repeat offender but still orlov's hit on schenn looked a lot worse than that...
