People are gathering at the scene, demanding police explain what happened. The victim was identified as Antonio Martin, 18, by his mother, Toni Martin. Toni Martin and others at the scene said Antonio was shot by a police officer. Crime scene tape ringed the gas station, which appeared to have security cameras that are trained on the parking lot. The scene is southeast of the intersection of Interstates 170 and 270. Several officers from the St. Louis County and Woodson Terrace departments were also at the scene. No authorities have commented on the shooting so far. A crowd of about 60 people also gathered at the scene. The crowd included ministers and some of the people who have been active in the protests related to the fatal shooting of Michael Brown, 18, by a Ferguson police officer in August. Toni Martin said her son was with his girlfriend at the time of the shooting. Wont matter what the reason is, even if it was warranted. The court of public opinion is already reaching a verdict at the scene. If the cop was black, the reaction should be interesting. There has to me more to this than the one sided story we've seen so far. I'd assume there is video cameras where he was shot. There must be security footage of the incident. Is there any hypothetical way that this sort of issue hits Canada? Here's what you do: You presume because it was a black guy that the cops are guilty and start chanting for more blacks to loot stores and burn the town to ash.
