NHL creates new rules for post-John Scott All-Star Game eligibility

Recommended Posts

I loved last years All Stars game, it was so awesome. I actually cried. When Scott was named MVP, and some players carried him on their shoulders. Come on, that was magical. I hate the NHL sometimes, Scott really was the only reason I watched it last year. Guess I wont be watching this year

So if the person with the most votes is "ruled ineligible the next one automatically named. Seems that means the web has to vote for two  "candidates" rather than one. And do the rules say  what happens if the second person is not eligible or is it an "automatically" named second person.?

All star Game has been a joke for years, this just continues on a tradition.
