      Go Faulk Yourself

      I just use this.

      http://ezgif.com/resize

But you need to upload the gif to imgur after. The site deletes the file after 24 hours.

  2. can't for the life of me pronounce Escherichia

  3. "Man, I hate puck bunnies they just can't enjoy the sport --- lol let's analyze and rank the crap out of all female sportscasters bc what else are they there for?" - typical male here

that word typical. I'm not sure it means what you think it means.

  4. I watched that with my parents. Most awkward moment of the 2000s for me.
  5. Blue is the Warmest Colour (universally acclaimed French film about a lesbian relationship) won every accolade you can think of in 2013, and had long extremely explicit scenes. I watched bits on a friend's recommendation and I honestly thought it was porn. Still might check out the movie just to see what the hype is. I have watched most of his movies and Melancholia is by far my favourite. It left a profound impression on me, and I couldn't stop thinking about it for days.
  6. I am scared I'll be bored to death with how long this movie is. Sex can only shock so much, wears out on screen. Between this movie, Blue is the Warmest Colour and Shame I can't tell if I am a prude on the inside or if these movies are trying to make more out of sex than there really is for the sake of art.
  7. Sorry, Interstellar still sucks in my books even though I am trying my darnedest to like it after letting it stew for half a week. Checked out some other movies: Brothers (2009): 5/10 Majority of the movie was cliche after cliche, especially with chick flick acoustic guitar strumming in the background. I expected something grim and dark, it was a slightly grittier version of Dear John. Things got rolling with 75% of the movie done. Natalie Portman was her usual, doing nothing but crying to the camera. Tobey Maguire was robbed of earnest critical acclaim because of how shitty this movie was, despite his best efforts (what a scene): The Babadook: Hard to rate horror movies simply because I can never tell if being good for the genre is good enough for the movie to stand on its own. Regardless, it was a good thrill and I enjoyed the We Need to Talk About Kevin elements. The Taking of Deborah Logan: 4/10 ran into a terrifying gif on reddit from a scene, got excited and downloaded the movie (especially after a streak of ONE decent recent horror movie). Was disappointed because the scene from the gif was all that was good in the movie. Waste of time. Next up: Blue is the Warmest Colour Has anyone watched this here? I've read the synopsis and it seems so...underwhelming and stupid. Reviews hail it as messianic. I don't know, the sex is way over the top too.
  8. Which joke is more dead at this point, :D and his love of youth or GJ being hipster?

    1. Where's Wellwood

      Where's Wellwood

I'd like to know how the joke about :D started.

It's still a relevant joke as long as they respond the way they do.

  9. Interstellar 6/10 I am at a loss for this crap. The only thing that has it over a 5 is the technical aspect. The story made so many logical leaps just to keep going in order to only hint at ambitious half formed ideas that its almost unfair to pick it out bit by bit. Long story short, this was the result of a self fellating session in which Nolan thought he could get away with an incoherent plot line as long as big words like "quantum","humanity" and "gravity" are there to impress the audience who are already in love with him. I had low expectations going in and it didn't even meet that. This is Nolan's Prometheus
  10. Probably, I rolled my eyes throughout the trailer and expect to be scoffing while watching it if I ever do Read the spoilers between you and DBTR and felt underwhelmed. My brown immigrant female derriere is going to sit this one out fellas
  11. I'm wearing cropped leggings and cropped boots today. My socks are severely mismatched and open for the world to see. I'm worried that I'm not more embarrassed
  12. Unrelated but nowhere else to post about this. I decided to get back into novels again by starting with easy reads. My time of piercings, teen angst, goth makeup and metal is long past but I picked up my first Chuck Palahniuk books today (Haunted and Lullaby). Interested to see how it'll turn out.

  14. if I am cheap and I decide to watch a leaked version, do you think it's going to hurt the movie a lot? Also, had the pleasure of sitting by as Guardians of the Galaxy was being played on TV. Waste of my time/10. I am going to steer clear of every Marvel movie from now on.
  15. When you say the word "poop", your butt does the same motion when you poop. Amazing.

  16. Edge of Tomorrow: 8.5/10 Loved it aside from the ending. Wouldn't compare any of it to the Terminator aside from Emily Blunt's banging physique. It maintained a light hearted action movie tone without getting comical, dialogue was sharp and the execution of the premise is what makes it stand out I'd say its a mixture of Looper, Ghost Protocol and Groundhog Day edit: really interesting to see the spread in reviews to Interstellar.
  17. Sometimes screener copies come out much earlier than wide releases for dramas though
  18. totally agree, another reason to appreciate summer being over. Has Birdman or Foxcatcher visited bay of pirates, the? I assume that's what you meant by "find"
  19. next Friday for me. Are you planning on watching Nightcrawler? (yes I am evangelical about it)
