      I don't have any issue with the signing, but this video is fairly weak evidence.  Marchand was off balance.  I'm sure there are better examples.

    I agree but it's hard to win games when you are missing Outhouse, Jarratt/Buziak, Jerome, Reddekopp, and De wit Outhouse, Buziak, and Jarrat are back now and I heard Reddekopp out for 2-3 more weeks, De wit week-to-week, and Jerome has been a healthy scratch I believe.

      Isn't it better to have lots of small earthquakes? Because it reduces the stress on the plates?

      I always thought this was the case however:

       

      Small earthquakes keep big ones from happening. Each magnitude level represents about 31.6 times more energy released. It takes 32 magnitude 3s to equal the energy released in a magnitude 4, 1,000 magnitude 3s to equal a magnitude 5 … and a billion magnitude 3s to equal a single magnitude 9. So while a small quake may temporarily ease stress on a fault line, it does not prevent a large temblor.

      Because the Richter scale is logarithmic, it would a lot of small ones to ease the pressure. If the big one is equal to a 9, we'd need ten 8.0s to fully ease that off...which wouldn't be that great either.
