    Why is SAP Arena so dark? Super noticeable at Sharks home games, both in person and on tv.

      @stonecoldstevebernier Yeah it was weird. The row behind us also cleared out early, but wasn't until the Sharks were actually losing. After the first intermission SJ was still in the game so idk what was up with that.

    Where/how is everyone watching the World Championship games? I can only get the ones where the US is playing :angry: (I'm cheering for Canada, tbh).

      Eons ago I loved California Cooler because it tasted just like orange crush. I stopped after 1-2 years. Now it's beer, wine, whiskey, and the odd rum or bourbon.

    Maybe cliche is the wrong word. More like predictable. Even without the post season spoilers, it seemed pretty obvious (at least to me) what was going to happen. As soon as last season's finale ended my bf immediately said "Hopefully Melisandre brings him back with the power of the Lord of Light". I just don't like how easily that type of thing can be called ahead of time.

    Sounds like I'm on the right track then! I guess we'll see. It would be awesome if John took a heel turn. The bad guys in this series are oh-so-good.

    I feel like there's no way he comes back as the same old sweet, honorable John we know and love. I feel like something has to give, and he'll come back damaged or deformed in some way. Maybe evil or as a villain? Isn't that what always happens? The hero comes back as a villain to teach you not to mess with black magic. Be careful what you wish for, etc. I loved John but I'm a little disappointed he's back. That's so cliché!

    That's sad to hear I thought I heard his fiancée (at that time) had come over? Justine I feel like I always hear the Sedins are the first to meet/congratulate new players. What awesome leaders. Little does he know the CDC crew is pinning all their hopes and dreams squarely on his and Hutty's shoulders. Funny to imagine him alone on the ice after practice trying to rehearse something like this just in case though. Good. I didn't realize the KHL takes so many long breaks between games. This explains a lot in terms of Try's conditioning. Great work ethic. I love it. We'll welcome you back, Try!

    I know I won't be Unless Mikael ropes me back in. He has great hockey IQ- watch his positioning (his assist in Bartkowski's goal comes to mind). Give him a full season before passing judgment.

    Now that's a sharp looking couple. Congratulations to them. When I first heard he was engaged I was a bit put off as he is so young, but the more I think about it the better a message I think it sends. Young guy on our team to marry a woman who seems successful in her own right; it shows his head is in the right place. We don't need to worry about him running around partying, getting distracted by girls etc. There's degree of focus and maturity associated with this. I wish them well.

    Didn't Mikael make it, though? Ouch, that's gotta hurt. I ain't even mad though. Now he can take a short vacation and follow up soon after with putting on some weight and building strength for next season. Onward and upward, etc.

    Maybe he just liked them and didn't love them? I am pretty flippant when it comes to tattoos so I don't take them too seriously. I'd love to get a matching tat with someone/anyone. My bf and I talk about getting matching tattoos all the time, but not so much "matching" as they are related (ex: one of us gets a hockey stick and the other a hockey goal- no these aren't the actual ideas though). That way if we ever break up the tattoos can stand alone, and also individually mean something to us as well as together.
