Dominating in the World Juniors would be a good indication that he has the potential to dominate in the SEL. Unfortunately, he's not coming anywhere close to that.
Nothing was televised in the first season, although some teams may have had their games available through on-line broadcasts. The good news is that the games are cheap to attend. I went to most of the TSS games in their first season and the tickets were very reasonably priced, as were the hotdogs and beer!
He doesn't hurt us out there. Otherwise, he doesn't stand out. Hopefully he's young enough to still develop into more of contributing member of the forward group.
I think they've finally decided this team, as currently assembled, is a train wreck. Time to get him out of here and put him somewhere where he can properly develop, at least until things look a bit less chaotic with the big team.
I have a feeling Schenn will end up being an example of a player Rutherford and Allvin make a "hard decision" on and trade at the deadline (probably for a 2nd). If we do let him go a second time though, I think it might be a bit much to ask to expect him to re-sign with us a second time.
