    I missed the 2002 Yukon Act, where it's no longer Yukon Territory, but just Yukon. I guess because Canada post still has YT as the initials. And it's still a Territory in a lot of ways.

      It's official status is still as a territory of Canada. 

       

      I still call it 'the Yukon' though, and I feel like that's outdated as well.
