    Dear Cancer,

     EFF YOU! My best friend from work, who doesn't even smoke has lung cancer. I want you to be crushed and destroyed. 

     

    I hope they caught it early enough that Peter will be ok. GRRRRRRRRRRRR.

      Sorry to hear that.  The same thing happened to my colleague in early 2020.  Doesn't smoke at all and then was diagnosed with lung cancer.  Immunotherapy has worked wonders for him right now and is feeling practically normal.  He has so far surpassed all expectations and is going strong so I hope your friend is able to battle through this and come out conquering it!

      Thanks folks, I didn't think this would hit me that hard. Especially when he braced me for it a couple of weeks ago. I think its because when I talked to him last night, I've never heard him so wiped out.
