i actually baked bread for a couple of years in a bakery

people under estimate the value of a good proofer (a climate where humidity and warm conditions allow yeast to properly flourish and rise your bread)

the break maker provides this quite well

it is harder to get that environment in the standard kitchen

that is an undervalued benefit i was simply wanting to point out

too bad you bought a mixer

expensive

i have used bread makers as a mixer and proofer for my bread

when it has risen the last to final time

i remove the dough from the mixer

knead it into 2 loaves

put in traditional loaf pans

let them rise a final time

and put them in a regular oven

you get proper sized slices that way

and the breadmaker provides a double function as a mixer and proofer

it is usually way cheaper then a mixer

i just don't like the size and style of bread it makes

if i let the breadmaker bake the dough

i agree with the exercise thing

this isolating stuff makes most of us way more idle

keep those limbs moving

and you'll be more tired at night

i filled mine,

it was:

fruit (bananas and apples)

fruit juice

ice cream (or some other frozen treat)

milk

chicken breasts (final ingredient for a large cooking so i have frozen home made meals available)

hot cross buns

chocolate covered raisins

pepper garlic whipped cream cheese

veggies

frozen pizza (but could not get any on sale)

tp for my mom (but could not get any)

(am well stocked on wines/beer/etc - but am a pretty low volume consumer of these things)

and i'll go out and shop as long as i feel it is safe

it is becoming entertainment for me .. .
