News From the Shark Tank

The San Jose Sharks General Manager, Primal Optimist, has re-assigned rookie blueliner T.J. Brodie to Saskatoon Tigers and recalled Colton Teubert in his place. Tuebert, with just 2 games played has 7 fantasy points in the CDCGML this year, and looks to have a bright future with the big club. Brodie is also pushing for a lock on a full time roster spot, making things interesting for a club waiting to get out of the injury doldrums.

Brendan Morrison is being re-activated From LTIR.

A re-adjusted lineup will go into action tonight, looking somthing like these lines as seen at the morning skate:

Sullivan - Briere - Moen

Hagman - Spezza - Kostitsyn+

Paille - Brodziak - Thornton

Boll - Morrison+ - Gordon

- - Ben Smith

Green+ - Morris

Salo - Falk

Tallinder - Teubert

Lundin+ - Lepisto

Reimer+

Bobrovsky

LTIR: Regin, Burish, Michalek

+Kostitsyn, Morrison, Green, Lundin and Reimer are considered day to day/game time decisions however they are practicing with the team and not on LTIR.

Football's John Madden always says 'Your best players have got to be your best players' and tonights NHL action is no different. San Jose will be counting on their top line, Sullivan - Briere - Moen, to get the team over the 1000 point hurdle. Of course with one of the toughest lines in hockey backing them up with Boll - Brodziak - Thornton, points could flow tonight. The blue line will be guarded by a younger look of Falk, Teubert and Lepisto, all battling to have a permanent spot beside Derek Morris on the roster, which should make it interesting. Also on the ice tonight, Daniel Paille and Henrik Tallinder, two players on the hot seat trying to spark something in order to keep their jobs as the lineup returns to good health. Plenty of story lines for everyone, great Brats on the BBQ and fine Shark Bite Ale on the concourse. Get your last minute tickets at the gates, and don't forget to visit the teamstore when you arrive early today!
