Beary Sweet
So another United draw in the 1st leg of the EL last 16 vs Rostov 1-1. Mourinho was not happy with the pitch and that the match should've been rescheduled. FIFA said it was fine so they proceeded with the match. Mkhitaryan scored a crucial away goal for United early in the match. But after the half time break, Rostov responded. Heading into the 2nd leg, I expect United to put the pedal to the metal to make sure they secure a spot in the last 8. We need to win this competition if we can't win in the PL against bottom dwelling teams like Bournemouth. But with a game in hand on Liverpool and a chance to tie, this is our chance to pass by at least Arsenal who are going downhill and move into 5th. Need to get the job done. Go United! This makes Liverpools comeback in 2005 look easy! IDK if I agree with that. Liverpool 2005 had no business even competing with that Milan team. The fact that they scored 3 goals in 6 minutes against a back line that featured 3 of the greatest defenders in football history (Stam was no slouch either) and one of the greatest destroyers in history is remarkable. In terms of class, Milan was leaps and bounds a better team.
Lateralus91
Lost to Hertha 1-2. Bunch of scumbags, them. 4 minutes extra time and then enter Weiser and German refereeing: Yellow for Weiser AND for Dembélé. Of course. Because why not? After that 2 minutes of discussion and ref blows the final whistle at 4:19. I hate Hertha, I hate Weiser, I hate Dardai, I hate refs. F#%§ em all! Scottish⑦Canuck
Heading to Glasgow on the half 6 bus in the morning to get down there and have breakfast and some beers before the big game at the ridiculous kick off time of 12pm. All in the interests of "public safety". Absolute joke.

They worry about people hitting the pubs earlier in the day and causing trouble. In actual fact people just go to the pubs after the game and drink just as much as they would anyway. Or bring it with them on the bus / train etc.

Popular Post Scottish⑦Canuck
Only in Scotland could an ex Rangers season ticket holder be appointed referee for a Celtic Rangers game. It's telling that at the end of the game all the songs you can hear from their end are about being up to their knees in Catholic blood or paedophilia. Scum of the earth and it's not a minority.

So what else is new in Scottish football...The huns have always been like that. Nobody does anything about it, as the hatred sells the old firm games... the quality of Scottish football doesn't. Nothing is done and that just encourages the continuation of that behaviour. Celtic have their fair share of problems too, politically speaking, but thankfully sectarianism isn't one of them. Certainly not on an Ibrox scale anyway. Saw the Griffiths replay just now. Stonewaller. Oh well, what can you do? Aberdeen better finish 2nd.
CaptainCanuck001
Zlatan, Rooney, Martial and Rashford all out for tomorrow. We don't even have a U23 striker to call up. Lol.

Celtic has their elements as well, but nowhere as bad as the blue corner. Half the family are green, so we have some good discussions going on at times (the other corner are sheepshaggers - Although my heart is United) Yes a stonewaller, which would probably have been given, if the opposition had been anyone bar the Gers. League is over anyway. Unfortunately Aberdeen blew it last season (probably the only time they had a decent chance of taking the title, since 1991). Now that Ronny has left the building Celtic is light years ahead.... And the only real joy expected by the Dons support is being above the huns...i other words, back to normal in the North East. PS. Come to think of it where in Scotland are you located? Could see you've got to travel down the road to watch the boys in Green. Mata can play the right mid while maybe Fellaini can play in the center attacking midfield position. Either way, this is a good time for United to get creative as Champs League is much more important to Mourinho and United and same applies to me too though repeating as FA Cup champs wouldn't be shabby either though. 2 trophies in our shelf already would be one hell of a accomplishment. Looking forward to the match tomorrow! It will tight but hopefully it doesn't get ugly like the last match in the PL. Go United!
