nd84
Solid signings. Mayers won't be too much of a factor but I think Oduya can help Seabrook and Keith rest and log in big minutes. Great skater and defender

-Vintage Canuck-
I posted Mayers signing some days ago: /topic/330248-signing-blackhawks-re-sign-jamal-mayers/">http://forum.canucks...n-jamal-mayers/ Anyways, with the Oduya signing does that mean Hjalmarsson could be on the trade block? Bure1994Mclean
Good signing in Oduya but baffled by the signing of Mayers, the guy is way past his prime with little to offer.
D.Doughty
Everyone laughed at me when I drafted Oduya in my fantasy league...
c00kies
Oduya was awful for the Jets, I like that the Hawks signed him.
Pears
Did anyone read the comments section on TSN? A butthurt Thrashers fan said it was better playing in Chicago than Winnipeg
Toews
Not happy with this, not with the Mayers signing but with the Oduya deal. I am simply not a fan.
bleednucksblue
3.5 per for Oduya is asinine. Good cap management once again by the Hawks.
Hobble
Oduya will just keep serving up pizzas. Overpayment for a turnover machine. And this is from a Jets fan.
Dion Phaneuf
Oduya will be traded before the end of next year, huge overpayment.
Nicklasjensen46
Hawks fans are probably very happy signing JO after giving the jets a 2nd and 3rd.
RunningWild
Yowsa, what are they thinking. He said he took a discount to play there - $3.4M a yr x3 yrs is a discount? He's turning 31 and is, at best, a bottom pairing d-man, but plays in the top 4 on their team. Lol.
Jaku
3.375M for Oduya yeesh... huge overpayment for a 5th or 6th dman.. I'm alright with Chicago wasting their money though..
