Absolute dominance this half.  I'd be really considering pulling Adams with him playing hurt and coming up with a limp prior to the pick.

And Adams leaves the game limping. Up 34-9, yet was still in the game. :(

He's also been all class throughout the process and went to a game this season.  Can't blame the guy for taking the kind of raise that will set him for life.

Actually he signed for $200K. He wanted the chance to prove he was an NFL QB. On to today's game, VA looked incredible in the first half, distributing the ball to his receivers, but, the running game isn't there for the fall games on the Prairies, or back East. Also the return game is non-existent, the coverage is way better since Bennie took over, but they need to find a way to tilt the field on kickoffs, and punts.

Big bounce back game from the defense too. I just hope VA is OK, why have a QB with the game out of hand, still in the game?

My understanding is that Nathan signed for 3 years for a total of US$2,695,000

You happen to know what string he is?

I watched that pre-season game against the Cowboys.

Essentially Lawrence played the first quarter. Beathard played the second quarter and Rourke played the second half.

Based on how early it is in the preseason schedule, it's too early to pigeonhole who is second string and who's third string. Both Lawrence and Beathard (last year's backup) manufactured a touchdown apiece in a quarter of work. Rourke manufactured two touchdowns in the second half and generally played with third stringers and had some spectacular throws and a couple of impressive runs. Based on what I saw, I wouldn't bet against Nathan being the backup. Time will tell.

Thanks for sharing that. Sounds like he played well.
