VancouverCanucksRock
Your serious? I'm just as pissed as some of you, but in reality Avs played hard and they capitalized on their chances.
Apples
Lu start next game? Avs were bound to beat us some game. Our last 13 games, we got 10 wins but I'll say it again not impressive considering teams we played.
406281dylan
Lol. One bad game after Bieksa has been one of our best D men during this run and you call for his head? Typical bandwagoner

Gman
not true. watch them when they are on top of the game. he look the right way and are still able to position correctly. that's the same for lui or other top goalies. when they are on top of their gm, they still able to track the puck with screens. when they are a bit off, they dont. cory let in 3 in the third period. we know how good he is. the team sucked, but he could have been better. Gman
I would go with Schneider. More games before the playoffs
Tortorella's Rant
This team is still definitely missing top six/nine forward or two. That's what happens when you have a huge asset redundancy in Luongo or Schneider and can't get a deal done for something you need.
Darth Kane
It sucks losing with a goal that late in the game. But it's just one game and the Canucks will still win their division and take the #3 seed in the West. For what it's worth I think Vancouver will be one of the dark horses in the playoffs. It may be odd to say that about the #3 seed but I think they're a much better team then they get credit for (outside Vancouver).
laxgoalie
Can someone please fix the title to Avalanche? Simple grammar..... But besides that, I'm glad I had to study for my exam and didn't watch this game. For once my decision payed off, I hope.

406281dylan
I jjust want to clear something up... Dan Murphy said lapierre gave statsny a breakaway late in the 3rd but he did not even touch the puck,,,, Dan Murphys fax are wrong. Lapierre had 1 giveaway today and that was for a goal. wallstreetamigo
I love how AV says he did not think Bieksa's screwup early was a big deal. Really? Imagine if Ballard had made that mistake......he would have been stapled to the bench.

Tortorella's Rant
The caller on 1040 right now is 100% correct. The Sedins have lost a step. It's a shame.
Jaimito
well team can't rely on Schneider or LU to win them everygame...the problem is the giveaways. Bieksa gave the 1st goal, Lappy gave another + a chance, getting hammered in their own zone.

Tortorella's Rant
That wouldn't have made a single difference this game. Our core players are the ones who gave this game away. We shouldn't have to score more than 3 goals against the Avs to win.
cyacry
i'm not faulting the goalie for this loss. the skaters in front were horrific. AV should have put lui in, might have still lost, but u go with the healthiest players. altitude do play a role, the third period nux got out skated. fatigue was an issue. why put in a goalie who wasnt even well enough to backup last gm when you have another legit top NHL goalie on the roster who just played a good gm? DeNiro
Based on the mindset that the coach and captain seem to have. They seem to think they can cruise control into the playoffs. A good strategy to reduce the liklihood of injuries. But it's a dangerous game if they can't get it going when it counts.
