Torts: Burrows will not play. Out for a few weeks #Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks will be without forward Alexandre Burrows for a couple of weeks according to head coach John Tortorella.

The coach would not get into specifics about the injury to Burrows, but it is believed to be a foot injury picked up blocking a shot in the season opening, 4-1 loss to the San Jose Sharks.

The 32-year-old forward played 18:34 for the Canucks in San Jose and finished with no points and a minus-1 rating.

As per Team1040

Just heard that at practice this morning they had Kassian skating in Burr's spot on the first line.

This should be considered good news on Burr as if his injury were worse, you'd think that they'd put whoever would actually skate with the twins on Saturday against the Oilers into that spot.

So doesn't sound too bad for Burr.
