Everybody Hates Raymond
Lock if old. From TSN1050 radio, straight from Dreger's mouth. The official @TSN1050 handle has tweeted the quote out as well. Since I'm on mobile, I can't post it. Says that Gillis, should the Canucks miss the playoffs, will be in the crossair for the ownership. Almost makes you want that 9th spot.
Millerdraft
Why settle for 9th when you could be 15th?!
Ronalds.Kenins41
Would be really stupid considering how there are no better candidates available. Won't take long for him to find a job. Since two other teams are searching for a Gm currently.
Guest
Isn't that kinda obvious though? Out in 5 Out in 4 Don't make it in at all You'd have to know that your job would be in danger
Henrik Kesler
While some change may be needed, you can't really fire the GM if there aren't any viable replacements available for hire.

Tom Sestito
Someone find me three candidates who could be good gms. And don't say Trevor linden.
Pears
If we lose to the Leafs tomorrow in regulation, scoring two or less goals, shouldn't that be the signal for Aquilini to say 'enough us enough'?

And I really hope this team doesn't make the playoffs this year. I'd rather see the Canucks get the shot at the lottery pick since every team out of the playoffs can now get first overall. Get Gillis out and hope for Ekblad rather than no shot at Ekblad and get swept by the Ducks...
bongo4420
Probably the best news I've heard in a long time. When you're the worst drafter, developer, trader and contact negoiater in the league you shouldn't have job security.

Everyone else sucks honestly as bad as MG has been(which hasn't been that bad) there isn't really anyone worth hiring to replace him.

TOMapleLaughs
Would be really stupid considering how there are no better candidates available. This is just it. Replace him with who? Tambellini because he has an italian last name? That being said, Faq was alright handing the Sedins those rich extensions when he's got to be smart enough to know they've peaked. Why wouldn't he be alright with whatever 'plan' went along with that decision?
TheRussianRocket.
Yawn...nothing will happen. MG is the best GM this franchise has had. Your don't know/appreciate what you have until it's gone and if MG goes, this team will go downhill for sometime mark my words.
