RUPERTKBD
Pillar stole one from Navarro last walk off I saw. Yeah, that's the one that I was thinking of as well. I think KP used his hops to outdo Dioner on that one.

RUPERTKBD
Yankees are at home to the Red Sox tonight. Eduardo Rodriguez faces Ivan Nova. Both teams have good numbers against the opposing pitcher, so expect to see a few runs scored. Meanwhile, Marco Estrada faces the Jays' favorite Oriole pitcher, Chris Tillman. The one Blue Jay regular who doesn't have good numbers against Tillman is Justin Smoak. We might just see Colabello get the start at first tonight. Tortorella's Rant
Why isn't Davis in the MVP talk instead of Trout?
Down by the River
Why isn't Davis in the MVP talk instead of Trout? Davis strikes out in about 40 percent of his ABs. Edited September 28, 2015 by Down by the River
Tortorella's Rant
Davis strikes out in about 40 percent of his ABs. But despite that Davis has more HR and 20+ more RBI
theminister
Rembwr that thing about being 1-2-3 in RBIs? If EE has a good last week and JB is averafe it's still doable.
theminister
But despite that Davis has more HR and 20+ more RBI Defense counts too. As does making the postseason. It is JD's all the way. Edited September 28, 2015 by theminister
CANUCK-EXPRESS
Why isn't Davis in the MVP talk instead of Trout? His team being last isn't helping. Donaldson is in a playoff team, Trout and Angels can still make the post season.

Down by the River
But despite that Davis has more HR and 20+ more RBI Easier to have more home-runs when you have the green-light to swing hard at every pitch (hence the strike-out count). Trout is arguably one of the best defensive CF in the game, and the CF position is more difficult than first base. Trout has 20 more hits than Davis, better OBP, better SLG (despite fewer HRs), and better OPS.
RonMexico
Why isn't Davis in the MVP talk instead of Trout? For the same reason Adam Dunn, who used to hit 40 HRs, get 100 RBIs, bat <.250 and strike out 200+ times like clockwork every season was never the MVP. CANUCK-EXPRESS
Wtf!! Tillman is 0-5 against the Jays this year with 15.50 ERA and suddenly he's only allowed one run. Just great...

CANUCK-EXPRESS
Hahahah im laughing at O's skipper. Tillman is having a great game and yes the top of the line up is up but why send O' Day when you know that Bautista has his number LOL. That was dumb base running by Bautista btw. It's too bad the user Gretzkys Mullett isn't around anymore(unless he has a new username) that guy has a wealth of knowledge when it came to baseball. I enjoyed reading what he post in the old MLB thread.
