goblix
If we are going to sign a UFA goalie and Lack is clearly better than Markstrom right now, I can see him being on the trade block. He still has a huge upside but hasn't been able to put up good numbers in the NHL yet. Currently 24, do you think we are going to trade him and what do you think we can get as a return ? nuckin_futz
Technically my Lotto Max ticket for next Friday has huge upside. Though it's probably worth zero. Markstrom has proved very little at the NHL level.
Outsiders
He probably has the value of Schroeder right now, which isn't much
Dogbyte
Pretty much Zilch. Maybe a 5th rounder, maybe fourth. Although a guy like that could be used to trade for a decent support player from the teams that will be against the cap. Hell, maybe we carry three goalies for awhile if we pick up a UFA. We haven't had a full pressbox for years now.
canucks155
It would be dumb to trade him. The most I think a team would give for him would be a 3rd. Don't sign anybody and follow the Buffalo method!
zombieksa
Package him with Matthias. It could probably land us an all-star goalie like Luongo.
King Heffy
3rd rounder if we're really lucky. I'd take it. His divefest in the World Juniors is a pretty worrying sign about how he handles the spotlight.
Down by the River
He may become a star, but teams aren't going to give anything of value for a guy who hasn't even been given a chance to really prove himself at the NHL level. He needs to be given a shot at some starts before he has value.

Tangelos
Probably like a 5th
Derp...
I think if he gets some games this year, we could turn him into a 2nd rounder at the deadline. Right now, I would say he's worth about a 4th rounder at best.
Ghostsof1915
Kind of hard to judge when he was playing in the AHL. Goalie of the month in February 2014 in the AHL . Sporting a 4-1-1 record and 2 shutouts, 1.31 GAA, and .953 save percentage. Just because Tort's was an idiot and didn't play the guy doesn't mean he's a write off. Canucks35
Package him with Matthias. It could probably land us an all-star goalie like Luongo. Did Florida just hire Mike Gillis???
sinphase
Lets see him play first. Maybe Lack and Markstrom could be a better version of Reimer and Bernier. Lack is for sure better than Reimer. It's just hard to swallow the fact that Florida just owned us in the Luongo trade. So let's see if Markstrom can live up to his potential and become the next Henrik Lundqvist. Lui's Knob
Package him with Matthias. It could probably land us an all-star goalie like Luongo. Looking more and more like the worst deal gillis pulled for luongo. Even Scrivens and 2 seconds would of been better. And we still pay 1 mill a year... heston
I'd get a package deal to get Malcom Subban from Boston. If we have Malcom and Jordan, then maybe we could lure P.K. over here one day.
