I could see Glen G. focus on ensuring the Canucks and Comets are playing to the same 'system' .. act as the liason between the two staffs, and work with our young guys no matter where they are playing .. he can personally 'mentor' guys like Kass and Jensen and Corrado etc .. reports were that he made a difference with Kass last year .. turn him loose on "Special Development" .. works for me.

Pearn is another 'steady hand' behind the bench.

Wow was not expecting that at all. Nice to hear that he's a PP guy, maybe they didn't like the balance we had with Glen. Wonder why they waited so long to do this? Makes it pretty difficult for him to go out and find another coaching job this late in the summer, as that's probably where his heart is. Interesting development.

There's no maximum amount of coaches. Nothing is preventing Benning and Desjardins from bringing in more coaches, increasing the level of specialization for each.
