Popular Post kj29 Posted March 28, 2021 Author Popular Post Share Posted March 28, 2021 CDCYHL Week 10 Update A stunning turnaround for 73 Percent's Manitoba Mooseberries as they lead the standings and remain undefeated after finishing dead last the previous season. With a nearly perfect 7-0-2 record, GM 73 Percent must be treating himself to a couple of beers as they enter the final stretch as the undisputed top team. Not far behind is Scottish with his ever-competitive squad. Even without Petey, they have managed to win their matchups each week in convincing fashion. On Scottish's tail are Jaku and MM — it remains to be seen if either of them can surpass Scottish for the No. 2 seed in the playoffs. It should be a close race! After a strong start by my team with a 4-1 record, things have begun to spiral out of control, losing the last 4 matchups and potentially a 5th one this week... It is a three-way competition between Mikey, 22Sedinery33 and myself for the final two playoff spots. After today, there are only 3 more weeks before it is decided. With all that being said, it should be a nail-biting finish to an otherwise interesting (and shortened) hockey season! A reminder to set your rosters daily for points While the rest of us are fiercely fighting for a coveted playoff spot, 73 Percent appears to be enjoying the No. 1 seed all to himself... A+ for social distancing! It is refreshing to see the number of moves being made each week by various GMs — keep up the good work and activity guys! With no surprise, 73 Percent's Manitoba Mooseberries finishes atop the standings, followed by Jaku's team that narrowly beat out Scottish's for the second seed. There are some epic playoff series in the quarter-finals of the championship bracket this week: Scottish vs. AV/Sane and Master Mind vs. Bombastik der Teutone. Things are looking good for MM's team right now, but all 4 teams in the quarter-finals will have until Sunday night to compete for an appearance in the next round. As we enter the final weeks of the season, feel free to continue making waiver transactions and changes to your rosters as you see fit.
