Tiger-Hearted
It seems the Canucks never have luck in drafting from the Q. Michel Petit(D, '82), J.J. Daignault(D, '84), Rob Murphy(C, '87), Steve Veilleux(D, '87), Luc Bourdon(D, '05), Yann Sauve(D, '08). Mostly defencemen.
Canucksfor2012
If the Oilers don't count because of McDavid, I think Calgary, Columbus and the Islanders are the big winners. Columbus maybe a little less than the other two.

Canucksfor2012
Calgary- Hamilton, Andersson, Kylington, Magniapane Columbus - Werenski, Carlsson, Bittner, Vainio Islanders - Barzal, Beauvillier, Vande Sompel, Wotherspoon, Pilon. Especially that Islanders haul, wow. Especially when they started with no first round picks, walking away with three projected ones.

Bourdon can't really be critiqued since he never had the chance to become a player at all. Sauve was also looking pretty good until he got injured by an SUV. Still really bad luck though. 86Viking
islanders use to be bad at drafting they sure seem to have hired the right scouts, they got a good haul of prospects if 2/3 pan out they could be steals
