A three assist effort by Zhukenov today gives him 17-43-60 in 58 games on the year. He's now exceeded last year's totals in all three categories and extends his point streak to six games (2-8-10). Just six games left in Chicoutimi's season before the playoffs.

He could turn out to be a gem in the later rounds.

What happened to him he was a good late pick to but he kinda fell off the radar?

His contract has him stuck in the Czech league. His team refuses to let him go. Contract expires this summer I believe.

Four assists for Zhukenov today! Brings him to 17-47-64 in 61 games, to go with his 54.2% faceoff rate. He has 14 points in his last 9 games, with three games left to play in the regular season.

Wow 4 assists in 1 game.  That is pretty beastly.  Do we know when the Q starts their post season?  Is his team qualified?

The playoffs start in about two weeks I believe, and Chicoutimi is qualified. It looks like all of our junior prospects will be in the playoffs except Brett McKenzie with North Bay.

Would love to see Zhuk get a shot in Utica next season.

Most likely he will end up starting there unless he has a good showing in training camp and he'll be another solid call up option if we run into injury problems again. He looks to be a good faceoff taker and hopefully he can translate some of this success in Utica next season
