coryberg
I love reading this thread. Everyone who hated on him now can see it was a terrible call to let him go with the depth we have on the right side. And only took a couple weeks. This is one occasion that it feels necessary. Told you so. don't get me wrong I wish we hadn't lost him on waivers but it's hardly a time to gloat when a team that is last in the league has had 14 opportunities to play him and hasn't. Gaudette Celly
I love reading this thread. Everyone who hated on him now can see it was a terrible call to let him go with the depth we have on the right side. And only took a couple weeks. This is one occasion that it feels necessary. Told you so. Don't snap your arm off patting yourself on the back. I don't recall any "Corrado haters", and none that are now changing their tune. What I do recall is wailing and moaning over a guy who couldn't make the team, beaten-out by a rookie and a couple of one-year rent-a-vets. Gaudette Celly
To be honest, I think this whole thing will just be a blip on the radar in a year's time.Wailers gon wail. Just have to let them have their season of sorrow and handwringing, until the next apocalyptic tragedy comes along whereupon they can transfer their grief. Sekeres and company will see to that. Seems like fairly good results to me all things considered.

RonMexico
While we don't have the greatest defense at the moment, "AHL calibur" is a little extreme. lolBiega, Bartkowski and Weber could all easily be considered AHL defencemen.
The Lock
Biega, Bartkowski and Weber could all easily be considered AHL defencemen. And that makes all of the other defense we have AHL Calibur as well? ....because that's the statement you made pretty much.... RonMexico
And that makes all of the other defense we have AHL Calibur as well? ....because that's the statement you made pretty much....No it isn't. It's AHL calibEr when you have 3 guys starting who are generally 7th defencemen.

Robongo
Should be a rule against claiming guys only to park them in the press box . It's been well over a month and he hasn't even suited up in one game for the Leafs

If he's not good enough for the NHL, he should be playing - in the AHL - in Utica - or with an NHL club that actually had the intention of using him as an NHL asset. That's for certain.
