Yeah, no. Tryamkin could play here next year and Cederholm is in the ECHL while the other two are in juniors and may never amount to anything. That's hardly an exhaustive list of our prospects either. Also, what would you qualify as making it? Most of a season? 100 games? 200 games? More? You could say Hutton's already made it, and Pedan's at least played in the NHL. Subban has a very good chance of playing in the NHL at some point, and Tryamkin should as well so long as he comes from the KHL. Beyond that we have some good prospects but it gets cloudy. Brisebois and Olson have talent but are a long way from an NHL start. Neil, Sautner, McEneny and Cederholm are long shots, but Sautner has at least gotten a call up and could be a good depth player. And KHL is a step above AHL and just a notch below NHL. If so, I think him not putting up points is nothing to worry about especially for a defenceman of his size. If he can defend well, move the puck, skate well, and be able to handle himself physically, then he will make the NHL. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Noble 6 Posted February 19, 2016 Share Posted February 19, 2016 Hutton: good #2/#3 defenseman in 2 years. Subban: a #5/#6 offensive/powerplay specialist in 3 years. Pedan: #6/#7 physical defender in a year. Tryamkin: #5/#6 physical defensive defenseman in 1-2 years. Brisebois: Solid #4 defenseman in 4-5 years. Olsen: #6/#7 two way defenseman in 2-3 years.
